How Ongiri works with worker readiness

Know who's ready,
who's blocked, and what's missing.

Ongiri runs the People side of the flow — getting the right worker in, cleared, onboarded, credentialed and confirmed eligible to deploy — so 'ready' is a status you can see, not a guess.

The real problem

Readiness is a checklist no one can see.

Onboarding, policies, credentials and clearance all live in different places — so whether a worker is actually ready is a guess, and expiries pass unnoticed until someone is standing on site who shouldn't be. Bring it into one flow, and 'ready' becomes a status, not a hope.

  • Onboarding tracked in spreadsheets
  • Policies left unsigned
  • Credentials and licences expire unnoticed
  • Cleared but not ready (or the reverse)
  • Documents chased over email
  • No single 'ready' status per worker

The readiness flow

Get them in, ready and eligible — in one flow.

Ongiri owns the People layer between your ATS/HR and your roster — taking each worker from intake through clearance, onboarding and credentialing to a confirmed eligible-to-deploy status.

Readiness, the Ongiri way

Cleared and ready before anyone is deployed.

Ongiri validates both clearance and readiness, so no one reaches a shift unverified. It reads from your ATS/HR, builds a clean worker record, and hands eligible workers to your roster — every status backed by evidence.

Three stages of readiness

Stage 1

In & cleared

Candidate intake, AI screening and pre-employment checks (right-to-work, police, credentials) → a cleared status.

OnHire

Stage 2

Onboarded & credentialed

Onboarding journeys, documents, policies, training and credential tracking with expiry reminders.

OnReady

Stage 3

Eligible to deploy

Role, site and client eligibility checked, blockers surfaced, then a clean handoff to your roster.

Readiness FAQ

Straight answers on readiness.

Does Ongiri replace our HR system?

No. Ongiri keeps a light worker record that connects to and complements your HR system, focused on readiness rather than core HR. If you don’t have an HR system yet, Ongiri can run lite on its own.

What pre-employment checks does it run?

Right-to-work / VEVO, police checks, AHPRA registration and credential verification — all rolled up into a single cleared status you can see at a glance.

Does it track credential expiry?

Yes. Ongiri tracks credentials and licences with renewal reminders, including after hire — so nothing lapses unnoticed once a worker is active.

What’s the difference between cleared and ready?

Cleared means the checks have passed. Ready means onboarding, documents, policies and training are complete. Both are required before a worker can deploy.

How does deployment eligibility work?

OnDeploy gates on cleared + ready, plus the role, site and client requirements for the specific assignment — then hands eligible workers to your roster.
